What to do in an Emergency:
If your insured animal sustains an injury or sickness, we want you to take care of him/her first and then give us a call. A condition of the policy contract, requires prompt notification of any injury or illness. If your horse dies, you must have an necropsy performed to determine cause of death.
You may phone Dietrich & Company Equine Insurance on our direct 800-942-4258 line and if it is after hours, choose the emergency option on our answering service. A live person will come on the line to assist you.
